Definitely happy to read this today. Given all the extreme weather news about heat domes, flash flooding etc it’s good to see that the strategic future we need to reduce our emissions is starting to take hold.

Renewables have been growing well and are now at the level of nuclear.

Btw Nuclear is also clean energy and, per Bill Gates’s book on climate change, is necessary for our future. Nuclear energy has the benefit of constant output to meet our demands – whereas most sustainable sources have variable output (ie solar doesn’t generate power at night). So Nuclear is part of the future too.
