I’ve been doing a data analytics part time course – and I’ve been inspired by some of the visuals used to display trends. It always seems that interactive analytics dashboards are pleasing to the eye and help uncover insights that might be hard to detect in standard 2 dimensional charts.
Take a look at this visual timeline and notice what you see. Then rerun in multiple times and see what else you notice. Very interesting isn’t it.
For this analysis I selected a group of major countries in Europe that collectively match the US population – UK, Italy, Spain, France, Germany.
